There has been a lot of orange around our house lately, which I suppose is okay since it is fall after all. But it’s just not one of my favorite colors.
It all started with the making of Riley’s Halloween costume, thanks to some help from Nopsi and Nola’s sewing machine.
Think there’s any chance of Riley’s school immortalizing the Great Pumpkin? He makes a pretty cute statue, doesn’t he?
Then there’s the little one, attempting to chew on his orange and white striped shirt…..
…..and then backing himself into a corner in his orange playsuit (thanks again, Aunt Dede!)…...
…..and grabbing his toes upon waking up from a nap later that same day.
That afternoon was also one of the first times I saw him plank. He’s been on his hands and knees a lot lately…..
…..but he’s now figured out how to get up on his hands and toes.
Almost there…..
…..got it!
I don’t think he’s quite ready for pushups yet, though. When he gets tired of supporting his own weight, he simply bends his arms and faceplants into the floor.
Oops.
