As per Santa’s instructions, Roux will return with him to the North Pole when he and his reindeer visit our house tonight.
We’ve had two pretty good little boys this Christmas season, so I have a feeling they are officially on Santa’s nice list.
We have had so much fun with Roux, and I think he’s enjoyed becoming a part of our family, too. He has certainly made himself at home in our house for the past few weeks!
He has found many interesting places and positions to stay in when he returns from the North Pole each night.
My favorite was when he made himself a swing and hung it from the ceiling fan in front of the Christmas tree.
Riley really liked when Roux got into the bag of Skittles and left a message for him and Rory.
He also giggled when he saw that Roux had decorated himself with some of his stickers.
And Kenny liked when Roux hung from the kitchen cabinets on a candy cane chain.
Roux also left a special note for Riley one day, asking him to please tell Ellie hi when he got to school.
Roux even brought Riley and Rory another Christmas book for them to enjoy: If You Take a Mouse to the Movies.
But today is Roux’s last day with us. He returned from the North Pole for the last time this year and brought a note for Riley and Rory. He also made sure to pack his little elf suitcase, too, so he would be all ready to go when Santa gets here.
Bye-bye, Roux. We will miss you but we can’t wait to see you next year. Have fun hanging out at the North Pole with Santa, the reindeer, and Ellie!
