Kenny’s sister and her family arrived the Monday of Thanksgiving week, and everyone (except me) headed straight up to the farm late that afternoon. They spent two nights up there and had a great time.
The weather was great, although a bit cold. There was plenty of time for four-wheeling, cow riding, fishing, rocket launching, hay bale jumping, and more. There’s always lots to do up there!
Oh, and Riley found more cow bones. He was so excited. He also spotted a blue-tailed skink in the leaves on the ground at one point. He managed to catch him, but not before the skink dropped his tail in an effort to escape. My Riley-bean is persistent though!
My boys played hard for two straight days. I love that they love going up there. They’re making such great memories, especially when they’re with their cousins.
While my three boys were off communing with nature, I was home getting the house ready to host Thanksgiving. I also went to Dana’s for our Friendsgiving celebration, which was so fun.
Thanksgiving day recap coming up next!
