1. Just another crazy Sunday dinner!
2. The boys brought all of their friends down to the guest bedroom, tucked them in, and then read them a story. Oh, and Kenny discovered Riley reading to Rory one evening before bed. Be still my heart. I love when they are sweet with each other!
3. Riley built a massive MOC Goosebumps Town a few weeks ago. Very impressive. And both of them insist on bringing multiple Lego creations in the car on the way to school. There are Legos EVERYWHERE now.
4. Celebrating my birthday one day early at Sunday dinner. Thanks for the yummy dessert, Nola!
5. SCR held a World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser for the first time this year. When the boys saw the prize list, they developed some mighty lofty selling goals. I ended up doing a lot of the work, but they did go door-to-door in our neighborhood one afternoon and sold a bunch. When all was said and done, they sold a total of 7 cases of chocolate and got some pretty sweet prizes. Thanks to everyone who bought something from them!
6. Gone Pecans at Rivertown with Karen. Not quite as good as Hello Dawlin’, but still a good time.
7. Silliness with Daddy before bed one night.
8. Annual Baking Day took place on November 30. Dana was unfortunately out of town on a family girls trip to New York and couldn’t make it. However, she and her fam did get on TV and meet Hoda Kotb, so we forgave her. Lizzie, Perry, and Annette were there, though, and we were able to knock out 13 kinds of cookies before lunch. Boom.
9. Saturday, December 1 was Kenny’s and my anniversary. We went out to dinner at Doris and then stopped by the Omni for an after-dinner drink. And there was a wedding reception taking place in the Grand Salon, just like ours 11 years ago. So fun!
Then when we got home, we discovered anniversary cards that the boys made for us before they went to bed. So very sweet.
10. Four Sleepy Sprouts. You’re welcome.
