Once the boys were finished with the raingutter regatta, they came back home, changed clothes, had lunch, and were off again: Touch-a-Truck was that day as well.
It was held in the Pontchartrain Center again, right by our house. I wasn’t feeling my best, but I managed to tag along with my three boys to see the trucks and not let my ticket go to waste. Dana brought Claire and Colin too.
There weren’t too many new things there, but the kids had fun anyway. Oh, and Riley and Claire were taught how to properly pick up poop by someone from the Humane Society. So there was that.
It was another fun time among the trucks. However, we’ll see how many more years we make it out to this event. Riley didn’t really want to go, and even Rory is less than ecstatic about it. Kinda sad, really. My boys are growing up!
