1. After I made a comment that I needed more pajamas for Riley, Nola immediately went online and ordered more than half a dozen new pairs, some from Old Navy for now (in a 12-18 month size!!!) and some from Carter’s for next week (in an 18-month size). I love the ones with the crabs wearing sunglasses.
2. I also have a new favorite book to read to Riley, Little Fish. It’s a touch and feel book, and he loves to pass his hand over “the rough green seaweed” and “the colorful bumpy coral.” As you can see, Daddy got the honor of reading it to him this night:
3. Riley also has a fun new (and big) toy to play with downstairs: a kitchen! It is on loan from Bridget, and he is liking the novelty of it very much. It makes noise, lights up, and has lots of new things to grab at and even a place to crawl through. Thanks, Bridget!
Postscript: One more new thing…..two, count ‘em, TWO, teeth. As of yesterday, Riley now has two bottom teeth. Only eighteen more to go!
