Last Tuesday was Riley’s first full submersion in the swimming pool. Nola and I took him in for a little while late in the afternoon on an absolutely glorious day.
Not surprisingly, he loved it.
He played and splashed and kicked and grinned from ear to ear. We had to get out to feed him dinner, which we decided to give to him picnic-style out on the swing since we were still in our damp suits. Nola held him while I fed him, and then we just chilled on the swing for a bit afterwards. It was a great way to wrap-up a really fun afternoon with my boy.
