Ten Things

1. Kenny very stealthily placed Rory on his big brother’s lap one morning while he was engrossed in an episode of Mickey and then snapped a picture with his phone.

2. Nola gave Kate a taste of her orange vanilla smoothie one morning after a dip in the pool…..I do believe she liked it!

 

3. Rory’s hands are in his face constantly (even escaping the swaddle during the night at times), so we get creative with our attempts to keep them down so he’ll sleep better.

 

4. Rory is enjoying laying under his playmat more and more, and he especially loves talking to the octopus hanging above him.

 

5. Vacation is tiring. This is me with my boys about a half hour after we got home.

6. Rory loves to sit as upright as possible, and Kenny found a new way to perch him on his lap one afternoon.

7. Riley’s creative seat at the breakfast table one morning…..

8. …..which he then abandoned to climb into bed with his brother when he woke up. Too cute.

9. Riley fell into the corner of the coffee table one morning last week and got one of his worst bobos to date. A “juice spout” helped, though.

10. This child loves being on his changing table. I get some of the biggest smiles when he’s laying up there.

 

Later that afternoon, we took a nap together in my bed later and he conked out on his tummy. I’m hoping once he learns how to roll over he’ll finally nap well in his bed, just like his big brother did.
