Newborn Photos

The hospital where Rory was born offers a professional photography service for all interested new parents.

Of course I signed up to have pictures of Rory taken, not thinking for a minute that I wouldn’t want the images, even though we were under no obligation.

I was a little worried the outfit I had picked out would be too small on Rory. However, all of his newborn-sized clothes actually swallow him right now, so it worked just fine.

 

It’s especially impressive to see the shots the photographer captured once you know the entire shoot took place at the end of my hospital bed.

We got eight really cute pictures of our new addition, both in color and black and white, as well as a 10x13 black and white print of the pose of our choice.

Man, do they know how to sucker new parents into buying something.

This little face was certainly hard for me to resist.
