Last Tuesday at music class the kids were invited to wear their costumes. There were only a few who remembered, but Riley was glad to be able to transform into Mickey twice in one week. After watching a little Mickey dressed as Mickey sitting next to his stuffed Mickey…..
…..and posing in front of the house so Mama could send Daddy a picture of him in his costume…..
…..we made our way to music class. In addition to many of the usual songs, we sang a few Halloween songs in honor of the next day. We played with balls, bells, drums, and scarves; we clapped, swayed, and marched; and we even danced around the room to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Riley had a blast, as always.
Logan, who we’ve been in the same class as since last year, looked so cute in his special Halloween shirt. And Riley was enamored with a pair of Elmo shoes he spotted on another little boy’s feet.
As always, Kathleen makes music so much fun for all of the kids. They have such a fun time, and it’s so obvious that they are learning a lot. Well, at least Riley is. He sings many of the songs when we’re at home, and he requests that I play the CD every time we get into the car. I’m so glad he’s enjoying music as much as he is!
A very Happy Birthday to Aunt E today…..and GEAUX TIGERS!!!
