I know I said I would post about Riley’s last days of first grade, but party recaps first!
We had back to back birthday parties on Sunday, May 21: one for Rory’s friend Emma at the Children’s Museum and one for Riley’s friend Dillon at Sky Zone. We all went to both of them and had a great afternoon.
Emma’s was first. Lots of Rory’s friends from school were there, and they had so much fun running around and playing together.
We left the museum and headed back to our car so we could move on to the next party. The boys made sure we stopped at the corner so we could safely cross the busy street!
Dillon’s birthday party was basically boys only, and Riley (and Rory) had a great time with his friends. They love Sky Zone!
After an hour of bouncing, we moved to one of the party rooms for pizza, drinks, and cake. This was about the time I realized my two were sufficiently worn out after a fun but long day.
Happy Birthday, Emma and Dillon; we were glad we could celebrate with both of you!
