Last Friday I was finally able to take Riley on two fun outings to celebrate his second birthday. First, Nola and Nopsi joined us for lunch at Gott Gourmet. Grandma, Grandpa, Kenny, and Uncle Jeff unfortunately couldn’t get away to be there, but the four of us had a great time. Love that place!
Then it was on to the main event: another round of bouncing. I had a little talk with Riley before we got him strapped in, and I’d like to think it helped. I told him this was a special thing we were doing since it was his birthday. He could bounce once but then his turn was over until we came back another day. And guess what? Absolutely no tears when he was finished this time around. Success!
Once again, he had a blast bouncing. He may not have cried when it was over, but he did ask to do it again. No harm in asking, dude; no harm in asking.
Nopsi asked if they did birthday parties, and they do. They can either come to you ($$$$) or you can rent out their space in the mall ($). Might have to keep that in mind for next August…..
