Riley has truly loved attending music class every Tuesday morning for the last two months. Sadly, last Tuesday was our final class of the session.
Riley really blossomed over the course of the class. His participation, although fairly strong to begin with, vastly improved as the class progressed. At first we couldn’t get him to sit still, but by the end he was right in the middle of everything, doing just what he needed to do. So proud of him.
However, much of Riley’s enjoyment must be attributed to his wonderful teacher, Kathleen…..
…..as well as many of the other great kids in his class, including his little girlfriend, Sabina. He still asks for her every now and then, which is just so cute.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Music Together was such a fulfilling experience, both for Riley and for me (and Grandma, too). It was so great to watch him grow as the classes continued.
Even though his first session is over, I won’t be surprised if we sign him up again, for the late summer session. It’s such good interaction for him, and he quite obviously has a great time.
Until then, thanks so very much, Kathleen, for making Riley’s first official music experience such a fun one.
And thank you, Grandma, for suggesting the idea of music. It sure was a great one!

What a perfect intro for our little drummer boy! Great idea, Grandma!
I guess it's time to get that drum set setup. Hmmm. . . where to put it? Middle of the living room sounds good, right baby?
And I will never forget the Xmas my parents bought your Uncle Bill a set of drums. Bop went golfing for the day. Anyway it will be a great intro duction to music. Hugs, Grams
