Remember when Riley made a big mess with the colorful foam blocks and pom pom balls in his room? That was way back in February of 2013, before we had even met Rory.
We have gotten those blocks and balls out a number of times since then, and it’s always a fun activity. Riley requested them one afternoon a couple of weeks ago, so I pulled them out and the boys promptly strewed them all over the room.
I was laying on the floor by the door, and I just loved all of the color I saw spread out before me. Riley’s room is already pretty colorful, but this just took things to a whole new level.
Of course it really just was another colorful mess, but I made the boys promise to help clean it up before dinner before I even got the bin out. But we didn’t pick up until I got some cute pictures of them laying among the mess.
And then things took a turn when they started fighting over the green foam stars.
Kids. Whaddya gonna do?
