Riley got to spend lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa while they were in town this weekend. Riley sure does love when both sets of his grandparents come to visit. They’re all so much fun!
Grandma and Grandpa both got to feed him.
They both got to read to him.
And they both got to play with him. (Yes, our living room has been taken over by baby toys. It’s something I’m trying to accept.)
Kenny and I also had some special moments with our boy this weekend.
He was very sweet with me on Friday night right before going to sleep.
And he had fun monkeying around with Daddy on Saturday afternoon.
The five of us also went on a fun outing Saturday afternoon. After Riley finally arrived, Kenny’s parents decided they wanted to buy him a commemorative ceramic fish for an exhibit in the hospital where he was born. The fish was finally installed a couple of weeks ago, and we just had to go visit it!
Our weekend was just so much fun. Riley was such a good boy and really enjoyed seeing his grandparents. Thanks so much for all of the help, you two! And I think Kenny had a good birthday weekend, which is the most important thing. One more big Happy Birthday to you, Baby; we sure do love you.

Sweet! I am so glad Riley has a fish on those walls that WE all got to know so well on August 30....
It was LOTS of fun. He's such a cutie and oh so sweet. It's a long wait to earn the privilege of getting to spoil the child and then give them back to their parents. Making the most of it! Heehee!
