Here’s what I’ve read since the beginning of May. I hope I’ll still have time to read once Bean is here, but I’m not counting on it!
- Cemetery Dance (D. Preston and L. Child): another good one from the tag team writers.
- The Physik Book of Deliverance Dane (K. Howe)
- The White Queen (P. Gregory)
- The House at Riverton (K. Morton)
- The Girl Who Played with Fire (S. Larsson): second in the trilogy, but not nearly as good as the first.
- The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest (S. Larsson): third in the trilogy; better than the second but not as good as the first.
- Spooky Little Girl (L. Notaro): quirky and bizarre, but a fast read.
- Mistress Shakespeare (K. Harper)
- Sepulchre (K. Mosse)
- Home Team (S. Payton): excellent, easy read. Go Saints!
- The Templar Throne (P. Christopher): not worth the time.
- The Little Stranger (M. Waters): a not-so-scary ghost mystery.
- The Alchemist’s Daughter (K. McMahon)
- The Happiest Baby on the Block (Dr. H. Karp): thanks, QP! We’ll soon see if Bean benefits from the 5 S’s!
