Monday was Jackie’s actual birthday, and we got a slightly slower start. But we were still in the parks before 10am. Since we had done so much the day before, we took it a bit easier, but we still did lots. It was a gorgeous day!
Jackie mentioned wanting to eat in the Leaky Cauldron, so we went over to Diagon Alley and had a late lunch there. It was so good. Plus we made a new friend outside of the restaurant.
We wandered around after lunch, caught the Horror Make-Up Show (which was highly entertaining), and met some very tall Mardi Gras jesters.
The birthday girl wanted to go to the Chocolate Emporium for dinner, so that’s what we did. And before we knew it, we were back at the resort saying goodbye to everyone. Kenny and I had a really early flight on Tuesday morning, so we wished Jackie one last Happy Birthday and said goodnight and goodbye.
The boys had a great time at Nola and Nopsi’s, and Jackie and Pat got one last day in the parks before they drove back to NC. I got these gems texted to me.
Jack, I am so very glad that it worked out for us to come surprise you. We had so much fun, and I am so honored I got to spend your birthday with you. Two years in a row! Love you, friend. Happy Birthday!
