What a week we had at the beach. We unfortunately didn’t see any of the Blue Angels this year, and we only saw a few really pretty sunsets…..
…..but at least Kenny was only up early enough to see one sunrise.
Crazy fries slept in much later than he did last year. Woo-hoo!
On our last evening in Pensacola, we took family pictures. The three young ones cooperated decently; we scored a number of shots with everyone actually looking at the camera. But my favorite part were a series of test shots when Jeff and Erin got a little goofy. Those two crazy kids.
Then Nola wanted a picture of her kids and their families, like we did two years ago.
Lucky that Nopsi snapped the one above early on because things went downhill fast after that.
Then Aunt E, Uncle Jeff, and Kate took a little family pic. So cute, isn’t it?
Here’s our series of attempts at family pics.
Not so cute. Maybe next year my boys will do better.
The ride home on Saturday was fairly uneventful. The boys watched movies, had snacks, checked out trucks on the road, and read their books.
Riley was ecstatic to return home to his Legos, Rory instantly zoomed his big dump truck around downstairs, and Kenny and I unpacked the car and put everything away. Vacation over. Reality returned.
Until next year!
