This weekend was Gorgeous with a capital “G.” We spent much of it outside on wagon walks around our neighborhood, which suited all of us just fine.
Oh, and we also put Rory in the back of Riley’s biggest dump truck on Saturday afternoon. He looked pretty cozy in there!
On Sunday we walked over to the levee, where Riley and Kenny played on the rocks by the lake, finding sticks to throw into the water, looking for boats, and collecting treasures. Both of Riley’s pockets were chock full of shells by the time they were done exploring the rocks.
Riley also found a piece of driftwood that he wanted to take home with him, which Kenny agreed to only if he could carry it back himself. He was one determined little wonk potatoes: he carried and dragged that piece of wood all the way to the last corner before our house. He did such a good job that Kenny took pity on him and carried it the last half block home.
Riley also had a great time rolling down the back side of the levee. He used to only roll sideways, but he’s gotten much better at it recently. Here’s a video of two of his rolls.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Happy {no school} Monday!

very dizzying, indeed!
I agree with qp that looked very dizzy to doit. But it still looked like a lot of fun. Great Blog. Hugs, Grams
