2. We had special guests at Sunday dinner on May 5: QP, James, and Nathalie were in town from France. And Nathalie's birthday was a few days later, so Nola surprised her with a chantilly cream cake and a kingcake. Yum.
3. Lunch with Lizzie at Poke Loa (and this is the only picture I took!), Me and My Girl at Rivertown (great show), utter silliness with Dana (while at Nola's watching Wine Country), and lots of hydrangea blooms this year.
4. My Mother's Day was wonderful. Riley helped Kenny make crunchy French toast, both boys gave me the things they made for me in school, Rory helped Kenny make a dessert fruit pizza, and we all had a lovely Sunday dinner.
5. They took their first dip of the year on April 30. Then they broke in a new inflatable on May 17. Riley took Luke for a ride on Mr. Ray a couple of days later. And we had Ansleigh and Myril over to swim on May 23. Lots of pool time so far and much more to come!
6. They didn't let a little thing like randomly losing power stop them from having an epic Lego battle. Also, Rory's new favorite game, fun dinner out at Caretta's with the kindergarten room moms and teachers, and Nola and Nopsi at a 70's themed birthday party. Far out, man.
7. Kenny and Grandma and Grandpa at one of the last home LSU baseball games and then (the next day) Kenny and Grandma and the boys at the opening of the new lion exhibit at the zoo.
