Kindergarten always goes to visit Liuzza Farm in Amite, LA sometime in the spring. I loved this field trip when Riley went on it in 2016, so I was excited to go again. And this time, Kenny came too! We left from school the morning of April 12, kids and teachers on a bus and parents following in cars.
We all arrived at Liuzza Land around 10am. Allison's class got to play on the jumping pillow and hill slides first, and then we went to pick strawberries.
After that, we got to feed the goats, taste honey, go through Agventure Land, and plant beans in little cups to take home. We also took a short break for lunch.
Last but not least we took a ride on the big trailer and got a tour of the farm. They grow lots of different things there, and everything is planted and harvested by hand. So impressive.
Most everyone left for home after our trailer ride, but we let our little group play on the jumping pillow one last time. Then we said hi to a cow on our way back to our cars.
Such a fun day!
