Rory’s Red Rug

On my list of things to do since before Rory was born was to get a rug for his room. I played with Riley a lot on the floor in his room when he was younger, but he had carpet. Rory’s room is all hardwood. I finally found a rug I liked but put off ordering it because I just wasn’t sure about it. Then it went out of stock and only recently became available again.

I jumped on it this time, and it arrived a couple of weeks ago. The issue was trying to find something that was fairly simple, since I want to be able to use it when Rory’s room eventually becomes the guest room again. So I went with a 5x8 plain red rug by Jovi Home, and it looks great.

Since it is solid, it actually makes a great backdrop for pictures. So I had a couple of impromptu mini photo shoots with Rory last week.

Is it too late to tell you to look away if you can’t handle the cuteness?
