New Year’s Eve was on a Monday, but Nola and Nopsi of course had fun party stuff for the kids the day before at Sunday dinner. They had such fun that night!
NYE morning we had a few of Riley’s friends over to play. Eli, Blake, and Finn were here for 3-4 hours, and all 5 boys had a great time. They played Legos, hide and seek, and snowball fight, and they enjoyed a pizza lunch.
That night, we went to Bridget and Brian’s annual NYE house party, but it was a smaller turnout than usual. And it wasn’t cold at all, unlike last year’s freeze fest. Everyone had a great time, and midnight seemed to come faster than usual. Both boys even stayed outside more than normal, doing a few sparklers and throwing snap and pops. And my car didn’t get hit! Hallelujah.
