1. Kate started cheer this year, and we went to watch her perform at the SPN volleyball game on October 1. She did great, and her team won!
2. Riley with a new Goosebumps book, Rory with a really big carrot, riding bikes on a gorgeous day, and standing up through my sunroof in carpool line.
3. Chalk masterpieces!
4. Fun with Halloween stickers and pillows one Sunday.
5. Jeff and I took Nola to Bywater American Bistro for her {late} birthday dinner on October 5. Then we took Nopsi to Luvi for his {late} Father’s Day dinner on October 25 and went to Miel (Lizzie’s brother Alex’s new brewery) afterwards. All was very good!
6. Running trucks at Nola’s after school and then supporting SCR Athletics with dinner out at Mooyah while Mama was in NC.
7. Reunited with my boys after I got back from NC and my first run since August. It hurt but I got 4 miles in!
8. Nola bought a pair of gold pants recently and she has worn them for every LSU and Saints game since. And they’ve won. So they are now forever known as her lucky pants. (We won’t talk about Alabama. It’s just best not to.)
9. We celebrated Uncle Jeff’s birthday a day early at Sunday dinner on October 21. He requested pumpkin spice whoopie pies and his wife obliged. They were so good!
10. The boys got their flu shots on October 30. They were not happy about it, but at least Tutti Frutti afterwards made everything better.

1. Chalk drawings are impressive. 2. Good thing I own lots of pillows. 3. Flu shot pictures priceless.
The lucky pants made a 10 things post! And I agree with Nola on the flu shot picture.
