While I was visiting Jackie and Pat in NC, Kenny took the boys on a fun weekend outing. They went to the lakefront airport to check out the 5th annual New Orleans WWII Air, Sea, and Land Festival.
There was lots of cool stuff to see, including military vehicles, planes, helicopters, and much more. The event served to honor the legacy of the WWII generation and highlight the mighty machines that contributed to the Allied victory on air, sea, and land.
Grandma was actually out there working the festival, so the boys and Kenny got to see her too.
Such a fun way to spend a beautiful day!
