Ten Things

1. Kenny and I spotted a really cool bird perched on our neighbor’s swing frame. He went out to get a picture; very pretty markings on him!

2. First playdate in 2018! Thanks for having us Mrs. Dana :)

3. Late Christmas gifts from the ‘Woods, the official end of Big Bertha, and Jeff’s creative Christmas gift to Nopsi.

4. Uncle Bill, Aunt Elena, Tommy, Billy, Cub, Car, and Asher were all in town a few weeks ago. We gathered at Erin and Jeff’s house for a 5 Happiness dinner one night; all five cousins had a great time playing together!

6. Finally trying out his Smithsonian rock and gem dig kit that Nola got him for Christmas. (Rory also just had to try on the safety goggles; he did not like them.) Riley discovered 10 little gems!

 

 

7. Much needed Lego clean-up in Riley’s room, finally starting the second Harry Potter book, early morning snuggles with my boys before school one day, and a {totally staged} brotherly standoff in the kitchen.

  

8. Family fun at Terah and Jake’s house. We were there until almost midnight!

9. Last minute night out with Nopsi! We saw a rainbow on our way to dinner at Trenasse, and then we walked over to see the JPSO performance of Jurassic Park in Concert at the Orpheum. So very cool.

10. Sleepy Beans and Sprouts, including them “camping out” in Rory’s room one weekend night.
