One afternoon last month, Rory and I spent the time between getting out of school and the sun going down playing outside. He rode his bike and shot some baskets. He’s definitely the athlete of my two boys!
A few days later, Rory and I went down to the zoo for his school friend Ren’s birthday party. It was unfortunately raining, but the boys had a great time anyway!
The next day we had a little early birthday celebration at Sunday dinner for Kenny. Nola made him a salted caramel snickerdoodle cookie cake with white chocolate icing. His favorites!
January 30, 2018 was Kenny’s 40th birthday. The boys and I put together a list of 40 reasons why we love him, they drew him pictures, and I cooked a special dinner and decorated the dining room. Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate with us. It was a great night for a great guy.
