Kate turned 5 on Monday, and we celebrated her all last weekend. Her party was on Saturday afternoon at Sip & Paint. She chose to do a Hello Kitty painting with her friends and picked out a cool dragon for the boys.
However, just like at Claire’s party in March, Rory refused to participate. So I pulled up a chair next to Riley and painted for my littlest. Rory did pick out all of the colors, though.
I was so involved painting that I almost missed singing “Happy Birthday” to Kate!
We finished up our paintings after cake and then took a group picture. Everyone did such a great job!
We went back to Kate’s house after the party to see her open her presents. She was so excited with everything she got and her reactions were too cute.
The next day Nola made Kate a special cookie cake dessert for Sunday dinner, and the birthday girl got to open more presents.
Happy happy birthday, Kate. I hope your special day was as sweet as you are!
