Video Wednesday: Peek-a-Boo and Clap

Rory has recently started displaying two new talents: playing peek-a-boo and clapping.

Peek-a-boo started when he was lying on the changing table one afternoon before his nap. He pulled his tiger lovey up over his face, so I said, “Where’s Rory?” He immediately pulled the tiger down with a big grin on his face, and I responded, “There he is!” This process repeated a number of times before he was ready to sleep. So cute.

I finally got the same game on video when he was in his highchair one day for lunch, only he used his bib to play instead of his tiger.

He has also started clapping his hands together whenever someone says, “Clap, clap!” So, so cute. We had already taught Riley to throw his arms up in the air when he heard “Touchdown LSU!” at this age, which made for that awesome picture when he was digging into his first birthday cake. I wonder if we can teach the little one to do the same in less than two weeks…..
