Last weekend was a busy one for us. On Friday afternoon I decided to take Riley to bounce at Target as a special treat for the end of his Mardi Gras vacation. He was actually able to do it all by himself a little bit, although he did have lots of help from Shatta.
Then we had two birthday parties to attend over the next two days. Benjamin’s was at BooKoo Bounce, and Riley had so much fun. He even got brave enough to go down the really tall slide and LOVED it. He then proceeded to slide down, backwards and on his belly, over and over again.
This party was also where Rory had his first taste of pizza. I think…..I’m pretty sure and I’m almost positive…..that he liked it.
The other was a school birthday party at Storyland in City Park for Riley’s classmate Ava. Riley’s only other school friends there were Claire and Alcee, which was just fine with the three of them. I kept calling them the three stooges because they followed each other around all day.
At the end of the party, the stooges all lined up on a bench to eat their party favors, a huge rainbow lollipop. So cute.
And now Riley has been telling me that he wants his birthday party at Storyland too. Outside. In August. In the Louisiana heat.
Great.
