Uncle Jeff came over on Sunday morning to visit have Kenny help him with his car maintenance. Since it was such a gorgeous day, Riley and I joined them outside and watched the guys at work.
Before too long, Riley was carrying around three tools and loving every minute of “helping,” although he did spend a fair amount of time playing on his slide and chasing after the basketball and only sometimes getting in the guys’ way.
But of course he managed to get his little hands on a particularly greasy part that was lying on the driveway. And then rubbed his face with his dirty hand.
Kenny is really, really hoping this is the first of many times Riley helps him work on cars. It’s one of his passions that he hopes to pass down to his son.
If Riley’s behavior thus far is any indication, I believe taking things apart, fixing them, and putting them back together sounds right up his alley.
And I’ll just have to get used to living with two grease monkeys instead of one. :)

Oh my gosh, that picture of the two of them with filthy hands is just too much. Lay in a supply of good scrubbing soap, PC. Looks like you'll need it.
I can't think of anything cuter than two grease monkeys. You are so lucky PC Hugs, Grams
Now he just needs to learn righty tighty, lefty loosey and we'll be all set!
LOVE this post!!! So cute & absolutely perfect!
