SCR’s Field Day was held on Friday, May 4. I dropped the boys off at school early that morning and then they were bused over to Johnny Bright playground. Everyone was ready for a fun day!
This year Rory got to be at Bright with the rest of the school. PK4 had their own little area with a couple of special inflatables and fun games. So cute!
After the games they all enjoyed a much needed snoball treat. It was really hot out this day!
The very last thing they got to do was play on some of the big inflatables with their big buddies. I love that they do this. So sweet!
Colin and Rory also snuck back onto the big ball jump before we left. So much fun; I wished I could have done it too!
Riley and the rest of the upper grades rotated through nine different stations, including tug of war, flag tag, big ball jump, and 50-yard dash.
Once we had been out there for about an hour and a half, I could tell Riley was done. He is just not a sports guy, and it was really hot out. So I knew when he laid down in the grass and curled himself into a fetal position that he had checked out.
But he perked back up when it was finally their turn for snoballs!
It was a great day, and, as always, I’m so glad I could be there for it. Love making memories with my boys!
We took the kids to Chick-Fil-A for lunch after, which was so incredibly chaotic. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
May has been such a busy month for us; I have LOTS to recap. Wish me luck on finding the time to do so!

My favorite is the picture of RileyBean curled up on the grass. Don't you wish we, as adults, could do that when we get tuckered out, wherever we are?
