1. Official Turkey Trot race pics!
2. I made an extremely brief appearance at this year’s Baking Day on December 1, before Kenny and I flew out to Vegas. Dana and Lizzie helped Nola knock out 14 kinds of cookies before 2pm!
3. The boys had a great time with their grandparents while Kenny and I were in Vegas!
4. The afternoon of the second grade field trip, once school was out, Dana and I decided the cold and rainy day warranted an outing to the movies. So we took the four kids to see Coco. With the exception of what I missed while I was taking my children to the bathroom FOUR SEPARATE TIMES, it was really cute.
5.An ornament that Kenny and I brought back from the Bellagio, a really pretty morning sky, still loving our Christmas pajama pants, and an impressive custom-made statue of our friend Tony on his birthday Italian cookie altar.
6. Riley and the Notebook of Doom monsters he created out of Legos.
7. A festive night out to see Steel Poinsettias at Rivertown!
8. Riley got to hang out with few friends for classmate Blake’s birthday last Saturday night. They went to eat at MOOYAH and then back to Blake’s house for cake. Kenny and I took Rory to eat at Lager’s while Riley was having fun with his friends. A good night for all!
9. Nopsi’s family Christmas was last Sunday at Aunt Roma and Uncle Dana’s house. The boys were especially excited to receive two reindeer that they named Coco and Rudy. They’re Roux’s pets!
We had a great time; however, Riley suddenly and profusely threw up as we were on the Causeway coming home. He also developed hives all over his body, and his face and ears were swollen too. After a call to his doc late that night, we determined he must have eaten something he was allergic to and had a severe reaction. Benadryl helped, but it was a bit scary for a while!
10. It’s that time again, y’all: our Magic Bands arrived a couple of weeks ago and the official course map and event guide was released. The 2018 Walt Disney World Half Marathon is just over two weeks away!
