‘Riley turned seven on Wednesday, August 30. He requested big cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast, so that’s what he got. At his specially decorated place at the breakfast table.
SCR had an all-school mass on Riley’s birthday, and I promised him I would come. So I skipped my scheduled run that morning and spent time in church with my boys. Then, later that afternoon, second grade celebrated all of their August birthdays with donuts and juice.
After school, we came home, had a quick snack, changed clothes, and headed for a fun jumping session at Sky Zone. Lots of friends came to jump with the birthday boy!
Riley requested smoothies for his birthday dinner, so we picked those up on our way home from Sky Zone. Then once Kenny got home, Riley opened his birthday presents from us and from Grandma. He was so excited.
He dove right into one of his new sets and got a decent amount built before it was time for bed.
