Video Monday: Riding the Waves

I realized I haven’t posted a video in quite a while, so you may see a few pop up this week.

Here’s the first one, from back in June when we were on our annual trip to Pensacola Beach. It was during one of the rare moments of sunshine when Kenny and I brought the three older kids over to the Gulf side and let them play in the waves.

Colin’s Sky Zone Birthday Party and SCR City Park Night

Colin turned 5 on September 7, and his birthday party was at Sky Zone on September 9. The boys were off and running practically as soon as we walked in the door. It was a fun party!

That evening was the annual SCR City Park Night. We went home after the party, rested a bit, and met Dana, Dave, Claire, and Colin at Blue Oak BBQ for dinner first. It was actually a really nice night, unlike last year when it was supremely hot and humid out.

Claire was really hoping she was tall enough to finally go on the Musical Express this year, but, sadly, it was closed that night. But we managed to do a lot during our time at the park.

Ten Things

1. Riley’s friend Jackson had his birthday party at Surge on August 19. Rory was excited to see Mary Jane there!

 

 

2. When QP and James moved to France, we scored two of their white bookcases, which look awesome in the boys’ rooms. Thanks!

 

3. Jeff and I took Nola out to dinner at DTB for her birthday on August 24 and this pic is all I got.

4.  Look who I found on my recent morning runs in Lafreniere Park: Hei Hei!

5. Riley’s Sunday dinner birthday celebration was at Nola and Nopsi’s on August 27. He loved his special dessert of cookie dough and mint chocolate chips!

  

6. Building and completing one of his new birthday Lego sets.

 

7. Kenny started implementing nightly exercises for the boys before they go to bed. It’s hilarious.

8. Rory came down with a fever over Labor Day weekend and felt pretty yucky for a day or so. But he bounced back pretty quickly!

  

9. Luke LOVES doing Snapchat on his mama’s phone, and I even joined the fun when I saw there was a Pink Panther filter a few weekends ago. MCA Class of ‘97!

10. I went to a special extended team-taught Labor Day Jazzercise class and it was epic. SO much fun!
