Kate turned 6 on Tuesday, July 31. Her party this year was for girls only: Erin and Jeff hosted 18 of Kate’s classmates at their house for a pretend sleepover the Saturday before her birthday. It went about as one would expect: crazy, loud, and chaotic but a huge success.
On Tuesday, Riley and I (Rory was with Grandma and Grandpa) met Aunt E, Kate, and Luke at Luv 2 Play for a fun morning. The three of them had a great time climbing, sliding, and playing for almost two hours.
That evening we all went over to Kate’s house for dinner and dessert and presents. She seemed to like the bathing suit and unicorn dress up set we gave her!
