Halloween felt a little different this year, but we still were able to get together with friends. However, it wasn't our college group; it was our school group. Second grade was on the tail end of a quarantine period, and Ashley decided she didn't want to risk us being at her house. We totally understood. Luckily, Dana decided to have a party at her mom's house and invited the whole Krewe. We figured most of us were in the same boat with quarantine (and almost out of it), so we felt okay getting together.
Rory wore his X-wing shirt and a Kylo Ren mask, and Riley wore a homemade Among Us crewmate costume (thanks, Ken). Both boys kept their headpieces on for about 15 mintues before they abandoned them. Typical. But the best were Alcee and Claire, who went as Alexander and Eliza Hamilton. They looked AWESOME.
After taking turns hitting an eyeball pinata, we headed out to trick-or-treat. Most people left bowls of candy on their porches, which was just fine with the kids. We walked around the neighborhood for about 40 minutes and then went back to Gigi's house.
