The week before we left for our annual beach vacation was a fairly busy one. The boys attended Riley’s friend Stewart’s birthday party at Surge on June 19.
On June 20 we swam with Kate and Luke in Nola and Nopsi’s pool in the morning…..
…..and then met Ms. Paulin at Sweet Handkraft for a fun afternoon treat. (Delicious and light ice cream, and macaroons too. They even offer a donut ice cream sandwich, which Ms. Paulin of course had to try.)
After ice cream, we swung by the library to pick out some new books…..
….and then met Kenny at the movie theater to see Incredibles 2. Great sequel!
A couple of days later, both boys got started on their Summer Brain Quest workbooks. I LOVE these books. Riley is not quite all about it, but Rory has really gotten into it. It will be a struggle to get Riley to complete his book, but Rory will finish his no problem.
