I know, I know. I still have to tell y’all about the boys’ last nine weeks of school. But doing so is such a daunting task that I decided to start with their very last days of school before I tackle the big stuff.
Rory’s last day was Thursday, May 17. I took his official last day of school picture so I could compare it to his first day picture. He grew almost a full brick and he doesn’t look nearly as little anymore!
They had a couple of hours in their classroom before their families came in at 10:30 for the closing program. They sang a few songs and even told a little story about God and all He created. Rory’s line was “God made people to share His love.” He did great!
After their performance, Sue and Megan passed out their memory books. Then they had donuts and fruit and enjoyed their last few minutes in their PK4 classroom with their friends.
Here’s what was in Rory’s memory book.
This was such a great year for Rory, and Sue and Megan were a huge reason for that. I think he is even more prepared for next year than Riley was, and I can’t wait to see how he does. Kindergarten, here he comes!
